Does your child dream of airplanes and flying machines? Do they spend their spare time doodling aircraft or rocket designs? This camp is made just for them! The Flight or Rocketry curriculum are designed for one week each. We’ll be using the FliteTest STEM platform, Workbench Education Sphero/drone projects, and the European Space Agency’s rocketry program for kids. We’ll be learning about propulsion, aerodynamics, computerized airframe design, and the basics of flight while building our own take-home aircraft. Our drone platforms are for more than just flying: we’ll film our activities using POV cameras, and in our down time, organize drone races. In the rocketry module, children will build rockets that can fly using various propulsion systems, add custom 3D printed parts, learn about telemetry and complete flight and landing missions.
