It all started simply enough with the goal of building the motion detecting camera described by raspberrypi.org.  But once the late-session mischief kicked in, the project took an incredibly fun and creative turn.  Hundreds of photos later, we noticed some were ready-made for the .gif treatment, the result of which we proudly present for your consideration:
